GSB nullifies contract for Zanzibar coach

Zanzibar has to start afresh and find a new coach after the newly recruited Briton, Stewart Hall, was forced to terminate his contract for technical reasons.
The coach was hired in a joint agreement between Global Scouting Bureau (GSB) and a Tanzanian firm, Future Century Limited.

In their letter to Sunday Citizen yesterday GSB, through their official Branson Garry, said the termination had been in the best interests of involved parties, including the government.
“There was a memorandum of understanding between GSB of the US and Future Century Limited, a Tanzanian firm,” he said.

After careful analysis, he said, GSB decided to terminate their co-operation with Future Century Limited for the best interests of all involved parties, including government and sports officials and prospective sponsors in Tanzania, Zanzibar and globally,” the firm said in the letter.

According to Branson Garry, GSB also terminated the partnership with Future Century Limited.
“This means that a recently signed five-year agreement of bringing a football coach from the United Kingdom, Stewart Hall, for the Zanzibar national football team has also been nullified,” the letter said.
GSB has already contacted main football stakeholders in Zanzibar, including the Zanzibar Football Association (ZFA) and Ministry of Information, Culture and Sports.
