Disgrace against Zanzibar State

Written by  //  31/07/2010  //  Makala/Tahariri  //  10 Comments

“Zanzibar is like an adopted child. Those who adopt try hard to incorporate the adopted child into the family,” says Josephe Mavere, a businessman from Arusha. “But like everyone will tell you, an adopted child is an adopted child.

“The adopted child always has a problem with self-confidence in the family because whatever is being done by the family for the benefit of that child, the child feels it is being mistreated. (It wants to be) treated better than the rest of the family,” says Mavere.

“They (Zanzibar) should have never accepted the union. (But) Leave them? NO!” he says. “Your child is your child no mater how badly they can behave. Even if adopted, you cannot not deny your child. Criminal or whatever,” stresses Mavere. “If the Zanzibaris want the best they better stay in the union.”

“If the Zanzibaris want the best they better stay in the union.”

The worst mistake ever done in Zanzibar history was Union!”, So who the hell you from Arusha to tell us we are better in the Union ??…Like we enjoyed the benefits of it in the past half a century!

“They (Zanzibar) should have never accepted the union. (But) Leave them? NO!”

– THEY ARE STUPID AND THIN MINDED who thinks Zanzibaris are the same as them.

Lkn ktk majadiliano tunaweza tukawakera nawao wakaungamkono kuvunja muungano wakiona tumewaandama sana.

Zanzibar ni Jamhuri mbia (Partner State/Republic) kwa United Republic of Tanzania, Nje ya Muungano kuna Republic of Tanganyika na Republic of Zanzibar, means kama Tanganyika ni Baba basi Zanzibar ni Mama or Vise verse kwa Taifa Hili, nionavyo mimi Zanzibar is not adopted child but stubborn partner, now Tanganyika has to be very careful if Tanganyika continue to treat Zanzibar that way, more referendums are about to come this is just a starting point.

If the issue is self confidence as you said, I think Zanzibar will be more confident out of the union.

Lack of confidence for Zanzibar came from the continous colonialism and then neo colonialism from Tanganyika which beleaved to enfluence the 1964 Revolution that taken off our 1963 Independance.

zanzibar was denied every economic and Development initiatives, resources and incentives that could help in re-building as a free Nation.

Among the important things that Zabzibar has been denied in the shadow of the Union parhaps many but Decision Making,Revenue Collection and Foreign Relationship were vital to dwarf our Nation to that stage.

There is no reason to convence Zanzbiaris to believe that we will be better off in the Union than being out. We want to be out.

Because of the bad policy of two Government heading to one Government, your comment seemed to me as deceiption and tricky.
In recent diaries, we have witnessed the so called Prime Minister frankly speaking in the Parliament that Zanzibar is not a Nation by law. How comes this?
If that is the case how TANZANIA has been born. Do you mean TAnganyika means TANZANIA?

However we believe it is fake, but do you agree that there is articles of Union between Zanzibar and Tanganyika as two different sovereign countries united to make TANZANIA.

    Please shut up.

    JOSEPH MAVERE– RESPONSE

I am shocked and horrified at Joseph Mavere’s (does rhyme with Nyerere though!) emotional outburst. Because that is all it is: an emotional outburst – based on an incredible degree of ignorance! “Disgrace against Zanzibar State”! Let Mr Mavere tell his readers what exactly is disgraceful about the Zanzibar state. But, at the same time, let him also tell them this: is there anything anywhere in the world that is more DISGACEFUL than the REGULAR and SYSTAMATIC MURDER of ALBINOS? And who does that [in the face of YOUR Biblical teaching ‘Thou Shalt Not Kill’]? Would you care to tell your readers, please, Mr Mavere? And to compound that disgrace, it is often reported that some of these Albino murders are committed by members of the Christian clergy! In the Western world, however, members of the Christian clergy busy themselves with sexually molesting little (Christian) children. Oh! What a tangled web ‘we’ Christians weave!!

And, if that is not enough, advise your readers to visit Hyena square in Dar es Salaaam and witness a real (but, this time, Tanganyikan) disgrace, where 13 year-old Tanganyikan girls are having to sell their bodies for a meagre Shs 700/- a go to whoever can bid! …And ending up in the ever increasing Tanganyikan circle of AIDS victims. And you’re talking about ‘disgrace’, Mr Mavere?

Mr Mavere, you talk about a ‘Zanzibar state’. Yet your Prime Minister, Mizengo Pinda, tells the world that ‘Zanzibar is NOT a state’. So, one of you must be lying! So, please, Mr Mavere, [in the face of your Biblica teaching “Thou Shalt Not Bear False Witness”] tell us, between you and Mizengo Pinda, who is THE DISGRACEFUL LIAR?

“Zanzibar is like an adopted child”. Really, Mr Mavere? Your Tanganyikan arrogance appalls me! Especially, when your Bible teaches you to ‘Judge Not Lest Ye Be Judged’.

“They (Zanzibar) should have never accepted the union”. There you are right. And, for the very first time, I complement you, Mr Mavere. But, the Union was the brainchild of one Abeid Karume (who, incidentally, claimed to be of the Manyema (Tanganyikan) tribe. So we’re back to square one – it has always been a Tanganyikan problem! Do you get the drift, Mr Mavere? And there is the problem – fom Tanganyika, back to Tanganyika!

‘(But) Leave them (Zanzibaris) ?“NO!”’ Here, again you are missing the point, Mr Mavere. It is not us who are saying this “NO”. It is you fellow Tanganyikan, the Reverend Pius Msekwa, who is screaming ‘NO’ to breaking the so called union. Or haven’t you bothered to read his article? And if you have not, that would be a shame! But try talking to him and find out where Reverend Msekwa exactly stands on this Union thing. I put a question to him (but he is yet to respond): ‘How was it possible for you Christians to break up your Lord Jesus Christ’s Church in November 1534 and impossible for us to break the Union in 2010?’ Perhaps the two of you could help me out – with an answer!

“If the Zanzibaris want the best they better stay in the union.” The Islamic Holy Book, the Qur’an(27:65), maintains that there is no way on earth that you could have knowledge of this! My reaction? I have no alternative but to classify you among the ‘illiterate literates’ of this world!

Mr Mavere, it is good to discuss issues – I believe it is one way of exchanging ideas. I am in favour of that. But a word of advice: always avoid emotionalism and try to be objective! And do a little research. In this particular case try talking to Reverend Msekwa. Also, for my sake at any rate, do me a favour and try, as logically as you can, to respond to some of the specific points I raised with the Holy Reverend.
    WASSALAA ALEINAA.

    Na Shaame,

Mavera…..or MAPERA! This Tananyika are bain warsh, they dont know what their are talking about, and are always fel jelous about Zanzibar and its peoples. This becaue they dont know Zanzibaris histy, despite that they think we are a stupid, un-educated, lazy, and cereless pople. Just because of our nature.

Mavera :Zanzibaris are more educated than you (Tananyikans). Dont forget that your Tanganyika constituion its the one appointed the stupid and ignorant peoples to govern our government (CCM SMZ). Remember that Unioun give us northing than crruption,mis-management,poverty and diseases. We better off the unioun than having it.

MAvera: You could not writte this artical kama hukutumia pesa za wazanzibari na zikakusomsha wewe na Watanganyika wenzo mpaka ukaweza kuandika.

If w didnt have a Unioun we could be far away than where we are now.

Halafu unatuita ADOPTION CHILD. Who is he adoption child us(Zanzibaris or You (Tanganyikans). Live us alone.
